Helmet Installation Service

EdSets offers installation service at our facility. Installation is easy, generally only requiring you to unsnap and re-snap cheek pads, and push wire into crevices with a Popsicle stick, and to put in some Velcro. Don't worry, most helmets are not that much of a challenge! 98% of our customers do their own installations inside half an hour each. If you don't think you want to do your own installation, we're here to help.

When you purchase a headset from EdSets, also order installation for EACH helmet from our 'Installation' link on the main page or here:

Then, pack your helmet and go to the UPS store or similar facility and have them include insurance AND prepaid return shipping labels inside the box. Send your helmets to:

Mic-Mutes

This is the audio accessory your motorcycle should have had when it was built at the factory! My good friend and fellow rider Bill Morphy makes the Mic-Mute intercom mic toggle that goes far beyond what a PTT switch does. Touch the CB PTT for a moment, and the mics are live till you touch it again, then they are silent. AHHHHH! Your ears will love you for it! I've been using them on my Goldwing since buying them back in 2004 and have now added another set of them to my Yamaha RoadStar Warrior for the CB2003 Handlebar CB/Intercom I use on it. Bill and I are friends, not business partners, and I don't sell his product, but I wanted to point my customers his way because I believe in his product and enjoy it almost daily, and I'm sure you will too. How durable is the new cable? Here's the VIDEO where I work hard to destroy one of the cables. (Sorry, it's a huge file!! 54Mb, smaller ones aren't watchable.)
